Grit and contemporary mood, emphasized by the vintage sound of electric guitars. The band was created in 2013 from an idea of ​​Matt Madafferi, with the aim of recreating the scratchy rock “Noise & Confusion” typical of the ’60s and’ 70s. In fact  they Always have been inspired by bands such as the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd, with the will to make them current, following the wakes music of Blur, Suede, Oasis and The White Stripes. The Ties would like to take the look of the Stones and the Who, through a sound that recalls the typical English atmosphere related to Brit pop and that fits in perfectly with their lyrics. The band consists of Matt Madfferi (voice and guitar), Robbo the Cat (bass, backing vocals), Matthew DC (drums) and The long Raf (keyboards). They were protagonists of a tour in Finland, namely to Helsinki, where they had an excellent response from the public as well as other live in Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Krakow. They joined the finals of Rock Targato Italy and other festivals, now get ready for the tour in Italy. Their EP “What’s Next ?” released on Nov. 6, 2015, on the label One More Lab and implemented in collaboration with CoseComuni (Velvet). The first single is “The Turning” premiered on GooglePlay, Amazon and Tidal starting on 30 October

In latest summer the band will be in London for some gigs.
